These healthy lunch box sandwich wheels or pinwheels are a fun alternative for the kid’s lunchboxes or on a picnic.
You can make them with pretty much any sandwich filling, our healthy option recipe is a great low-calorie substitute.
Healthy Lunch Box Sandwich Wheels
A fun alternative for the lunch box.
Ingredients
- 2 slices Bread
- Sunflower light spread
- 1 Carrot
- Light soft cheese
- 2 slices Ham
Conversions
Instructions
- Remove the crusts from the bread slices and gently flatten with a rolling pin.
- Cover the slices thinly with the spread.
- Mix some peeled and grated carrot with the soft cheese and spread over the bread.
- Top with a slice of ham and then roll up and cut into 6 pinwheels.
